Gillian Treier focuses her practice in the areas of estate planning, trust administration and probate administration (including guardianships and conservatorships). She is a member in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan and focuses her practice in Oakland, Macomb and Wayne Counties.
After passing the bar, she went into private practice in the area of estate planning and probate. She has also served as court-appointed guardian ad-litem in Oakland County Probate Court.
Ms. Treier graduated from University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law to earn her Juris Doctor degree. While in law school, Ms. Treier clerked for a private law firm that solely dealt with estate planning and probate matters and clerked for magistrate Judge Mark Randon at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
During law school, Ms. Treier received an esteemed book award and was a moot court quarterfinalist. Ms. Treier received her Bachelor’s degree in English from Wayne State University.
